Shane Finishes His First Marathon in Style!
On Saturday April 27 a number of club members and local runners participated in this popular annual multi-distance event in Cornwall, Ontario about an hour’s drive east of Brockville.
As always there were some excellent performances and a significant number of medals won.
Special congrats to board member Shane Curless for a sub 3 hour run in his first marathon. Shane finished in 14th place overall of 223 runners in a time of 2:53:58.
Shane’s sub 3 hour run looks like it will be a Boston Marathon qualifier for the 2025 edition. This to be confirmed but again shows the quality of Shane’s Cornwall run.
